Posters with Dragan Čović's head crossed out in the center of Široki Brijeg

On Tuesday morning, posters with the head of HDZ BiH President Dragan Čović crossed out appeared in several locations in Široki Brijeg.

The portal Bljesak.info writes that the posters are actually in all visible places: on traffic signs, poles, and other visible locations. The posters are located in the busiest city streets.

Dragan Čović enjoys great popularity among voters in Široki Brijeg. In the last General Elections in BiH, he won nearly 11,000 votes, while his opponent Martin Raguž won just over 1,500 votes.

Among the residents of Široki Brijeg, opinions are divided after this incident; some believe that Čović's opponents pasted the posters, while others believe that his supporters did it to provoke defiance among voters and further strengthen Čović's position among the citizens of Široki Brijeg. Local elections are being held in BiH on October 2, writes Patria.
