Roof structure being installed at Mula Mustafa Bašeskija school

By the end of this week, the complete roof structure will be installed on the sports hall of Elementary School „Mula Mustafa Bašeskija“. From the municipal Department for Investments, Planning and Analysis, they announce that the works on this capital project of the Municipality of Stari Grad, worth around 711,000 KM, are progressing at a good pace. In addition to a modern sports hall, this old-town elementary school will also receive a new yard, where works are also proceeding according to plan. The laying of the external part of the sewage network through the school yard has currently begun, Patria reports.

The construction of the children's playground in front of the Logavina Cultural Centre has also been completed, and works are currently underway to arrange the entrance in front of the playground. Thanks to a gift from the twin municipality of Karpoš from Skopje, which financed the works with 15,000 euros, the local community of Logavina has received a modern, arranged and equipped children's playground.

The new playground consists of two parts; the first part has a rubber surface (rubber tiles) on which a slide and two swings are installed. The second part is covered with gravel, and a metal seesaw and two rocking chairs are placed there. Also, on the playground there are two wooden benches for rest and two waste bins, and these works were done by the company Bosman d.o.o. Sarajevo. Currently, workers from KJKP „Rad“ are asphalting the area in front of the playground, replacing damaged curbstones, and plan to install bollards that will prevent parking in front of the playground entrance. The access arrangement works are financed by the Municipality of Stari Grad with 2,900 KM.
