(Patria) - The Employers' Association in FBiH is calling on authorities at all levels to de-escalate tensions and establish full security in BiH.
"The current business year has not started well for employers in the real sector due to internal and external influences on BiH.
With rising labor costs, prices of food and services, raw materials and energy, coupled with the crisis in foreign markets and reduced exports, the last thing we needed in our business was a worsened security situation.
Few are talking about new investments and investors, and existing employers are 'listening' to the situation and rationally managing their resources and capabilities.
We are telling all politicians to stop intimidating citizens in our country and return to development and the establishment of normal life and work, and to the obviously suspended European path," stated the Employers' Association in FBiH.
Insecurity and declining turnover, they add, will also affect employment and public revenues.
"We demand that the authorities, by restoring trust and stabilizing the security situation, protect jobs in the real and public sectors, and thus the standards and rights of pensioners, social categories, and all citizens in BiH," concludes the statement from the Employers' Association in FBiH.
