A commemoration and burial for Bosnian singer-songwriter Kemal Monteno, who passed away at the age of 67 seven days ago, will be held today, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The commemoration will be held at the National Theatre Sarajevo at 12:00, and at 14:30 he will be laid to rest at the Bare city cemetery in the Alley of Greats.
Monteno was one of the symbols of Sarajevo, although he lived in Zagreb in recent years. He left behind numerous songs that will be remembered by generations to come.
