Last appeal to SDP, NiP, and Our Party: Do not vote for Vukoja, here's your vote for Mioković, here's your government!

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH is currently discussing the election of a judge to the Constitutional Court of BiH.

The first to address the discussion was the head of the DF Caucus in the FBiH Parliament, Mahir Mešalić, who immediately addressed Mladen Bošković, who is leading today's session.

- First of all, let me comment on your report, colleague Bošković - 50 percent is a forgery, and I told you that at the Election and Appointment Committee.

You intended to pass off this forgery, just like on July 6, 2023, because no one here decided on the procedures. You replaced Dajana Čolić and Edina Gabela with members of HSS and PDA.

Notice the degree of your distrust, that you conditioned the election of Marin Vukoja by replacing the chairperson Mirjana Marinković Lepić with representative Dragan Mioković from Our Party.

Marinković Lepić should have been replaced long ago, but you blackmailed Our Party, and as we can see - it worked. You never verified that Working Group - Ismet Osmanović, Samer Rešidat, and Mladen Bošković.

You falsified that information again and brought it before Parliament, all with the aim of securing the HDZ candidate - said Mešalić.

He points out that he will disregard the fact that Vukoja was an HDZ candidate for the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, along with Dragan Čović, that is his right.

- But to appoint him to the Constitutional Court as completely politically dependent, and you are doing this through the hands of SDP, Our Party, and NiP. Everything that those three parties once objected to, they will have to swallow like frogs today.

Why didn't you accept my initiative to wait for the Opinion of the Venice Commission? - asked Mešalić.

He told Bošković that the Trojka (Three) had left him to be their high representative.

- You are not to us. If you are afraid that DF will enter the government, don't be, I give you my word. Do not betray the future of BiH and your own today. Do not let Dragan Čović blackmail you, we will vote for Mioković too.

Why must Dodik and Čović have levers in the Constitutional Court for the next 20 years? For the last time, I appeal to SDP, NiP, and Our Party not to vote for Vukoja, because the generations before us did not fight for this.

This is the most important decision in this mandate tonight. Go ahead, unmask the principles you fought for. This is not what citizens want, meaning they do not want ethnic divisions - concluded Mešalić.
