Last group of BiH pilgrims arrives in Medina today

The last pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina this year will depart for the city of the Prophet, Medina, on flights from Sarajevo Airport today. The first pilgrims arrived in Medina yesterday afternoon, led by this year's Reis-ul-Hujjaj, Mufti of Tuzla Vahid ef. Fazlović. Upon arrival in Medina, the pilgrims were accommodated in two hotels located in close proximity to the Prophet's a.s. mosque, which they visited after resting, MINA reports, forwarded by Patria.

The health condition of the pilgrims is good, and their health will be taken care of by a medical service composed of six mobile teams, each including a specialist doctor and a nurse/technician with many years of experience.

The pilgrims are spending their time visiting the Prophet's a.s. mosque, and in the coming days, visits to other sights in Medina will be organized.

- Around 800 pilgrims arrived in Medina on four flights yesterday. So far, activities are proceeding without problems and according to plan. The health condition of the pilgrims is currently good, which is expected considering we have just arrived. Today, the pilgrims are planned to rest and individually visit the Prophet's a.s. mosque. This evening, we are organizing a visit to Rawdah and the Prophet's grave for the male pilgrims, while we will organize this visit for the women tomorrow, God willing. We expect the remaining pilgrims to join us today so that we are complete - said Izet ef. Čamdžić, coordinator of this year's Hajj guides.

After the arrival of the remaining pilgrims, other joint activities are planned, as well as visits to other attractions in and around Medina. The pilgrims will stay in Medina until next Tuesday, when they will complete the final preparations for performing Hajj and head towards Mecca.

The return of the pilgrims to Bosnia and Herzegovina is planned on flights on September 17, 18, 19, and 20.
