After drama in the finish, Sloboda fell at Grbavica

In a duel of old rivals at Grbavica, Željezničar defeated Sloboda with a minimal 1:0 after a very exciting and dramatic finish.

The first big chance of the match came in the ninth minute, and it was the visitors who had it. Mijić hit the post from a few meters. The home side responded five minutes later, Zakarić shot from the edge of the penalty area, half-high, and Muminović saved his goal with a brilliant save.

The home team continued with better play in the following minutes, and the next chance came in the 26th minute when Blagojević crossed from the left, and Ubiparip headed from a few meters into Muminović.

Until the end of the first half, the game was mostly played between the two penalty areas without serious excitement. Worth mentioning is Ignjatović's chance in the 37th minute when the tall defender headed over the goal.

The second half began with pressure from Željezničar, Ramović had a good chance already in the 47th minute when, after a scramble, he shot just wide of the post. The home defense stood high, which gave Sloboda favorable counterattacks, but none resulted in a serious chance.

The attacks of the Blues paid off in the 64th minute, Hajdarević caught a volley from the edge of the penalty area, and the ball reached Graovac who finally beat Muminović.

After conceding the goal, Sloboda opened up, and had a chance to equalize in the 76th minute when Todorović shot from about 15 meters over the goal. The same player eight minutes later found himself one-on-one with Kjosevski after a furious counterattack by the visitors, but Kjosevski intervened brilliantly.

In the 84th minute, Smajić headed the ball back into the six-yard box, lobbing Kjosevski, and the ball was saved from the goal line by the excellent Graovac.

In stoppage time, Terzić came in from the second line, but shot wide of the goal. That was the last chance of the match, so it remained 1:0.
