MP in RS National Assembly Nedim Čivić leaves SDA

MP of the Homeland Coalition in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska Nedim Čivić has left the SDA, after the party leadership introduced trusteeship in several municipal organizations, including Zvornik, where Čivić was the president of the municipal organization of this party.

Čivić said he was expelled from the party. Instead of him, trustee Samir Bačevac was appointed to head the SDA in Zvornik.

Čivić achieved the best election result among all Bosniak candidates in the RS in the 2014 local elections. He is the only MP with a direct mandate in the RS National Assembly. The SDA has not provided an explanation as to why they replaced a member who achieved outstanding results.
