MPs in the HoR PSBiH did not vote for Poplašen: "Mistake" from the House of Peoples corrected

The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH rejected the proposal to appoint decorated Chetnik duke Nikola Poplašen as one of the members of the Governing Board of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH, writes the Patria News Agency.

We remind you that a total of six delegates from the Federation of BiH and two from Republika Srpska voted for the appointment: Sead Kadić (SDA), Sifet Podžić (DF), Bariša Čolak (HDZ BiH), Mario Karamatić (HSS), Zdenka Džambas (HDZ BiH), Ljilja Zovko (HDZ BiH), Ognjen Tadić (SDS), and Darko Babalj (SDS). Podžić and Kadić later sent their apologies for voting for Poplašen's appointment, but the MPs, clearly influenced by the public reaction, corrected their "mistake".

We remind you that Poplašen founded the Serbian Radical Party in 1993 during the Serbian aggression, and Chetnik duke Vojislav Šešelj, a Hague indictee, appointed Poplašen as a Chetnik duke, although he later disowned him, considering him a traitor for testifying at The Hague.
