MPs debated migrants, no one to answer questions

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The continuation of the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which was interrupted on May 30, was marked today by debates and breaks, with MPs particularly eager to discuss the migrant crisis facing BiH. 

The Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić is not attending the session, and many questions remained unanswered. MPs are demanding that Deputy Minister Mijo Krešić be brought back to the session, although this agenda item has been concluded. Breaks are constantly being requested.

The Speaker of the House, Mladen Bosić, stated that the debate on migrants has ended and that this topic will be discussed at the next session as well. It was pointed out that information on the situation with migrants was requested as early as May 15, but that MPs have not received any information or report to this day. 

Staša Košarac, chair of the SNSD Caucus, tried to draw Bosić's attention to the fact that Borislav Bojić had requested a statement from the Deputy Minister of Security, but Bosić interrupted him with the words „half-hour break“, which again led to an interruption of the continuation of the session that began on May 30.

We remind you that a new session of the House of Representatives was supposed to be held today to consider repealing excise duties on fuel, but given the events during the continuation of the session, the new session will likely not be held today.
