Lawmakers Before Annual Leave: Discussion on Incentives for Youth Employment

Lawmakers of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly will hold their last session today before the collective annual leave, writes the Patria News Agency.

Today, lawmakers will discuss, among other things, the Proposal for a Framework Law on Incentives for the Employment of Young People in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Proposal for Amendments to the Law on the Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH.

On the agenda is also the Proposal for Amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, submitted by lawmaker Denis Bećirović.

Lawmakers are also expected to declare on the Proposal for a Law on the Procedure for Voting by Citizens of Other Countries on the Territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, which is based on the principle of reciprocity. 

The proposed law regulates the exercise of voting rights by citizens of other countries who permanently or temporarily reside in BiH when voting in elections or referendums held at the polling stations of that country in BiH, as well as the conditions, manner, and procedure related to voting. 

The basic principle for exercising voting rights by citizens of other countries in BiH is reciprocity for BiH citizens when voting on the territory of that other country.
