As could have been predicted earlier, the Draft Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH and amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH proposed by SNSD and SDS will be before the deputies of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH on February 3, when the session is scheduled, reports the Patria News Agency.
Bosniaks are against, Serbs and Croats are for the proposed new Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH and amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, so it is certain that the session of the House of Representatives will be interesting.
Otherwise, SNSD and SDS are behind the draft Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH and amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, and Sredoje Nović, an SNSD delegate in the House of Peoples of the state Parliament, officially put the new solutions into parliamentary procedure. In short, the new law provides for the removal of three foreign judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH and their replacement with domestic ones, and for the deletion of Article 239 from the Criminal Code of BiH, which prescribes sanctions for non-implementation of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the Court of BiH.
Earlier, on January 12, these draft laws were removed from the agenda of the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, a decision made by the Collegium of this House.
The draft laws were removed at the request of the Constitutional-Legal Committee, which did not consider them today, due to technical deficiencies because they were not harmonized with the unified rules for drafting legal regulations in BiH.
