POSKOK: Phones seized from Mijatović and two others, suspected of multiple criminal offenses

(Patria) - Based on a criminal complaint filed with the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of FBiH by the legal entity Ilirya Tech Group d.o.o. Sarajevo, against the federal minister of development, entrepreneurship and trade of FBiH in connection with the procedure for awarding Grant funds of current transfers under project number 5 "Development of the start-up ecosystem", according to the Public Call of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Trade of FBiH for the selection of beneficiaries of grant funds for capital and current transfers for the year 2025, published in the "Official Gazette of FBiH", number 21/25 of March 21, 2025, by order of the Special Department of the Supreme Court of FBiH, and at the proposal of the acting federal prosecutor, mobile phones of three persons have been temporarily seized.

The actions are being carried out within the framework of verifying the allegations from the complaint.

"Suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses under Article 340 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in connection with the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Authority under Article 383 of the Criminal Code of FBiH, the criminal offense of Giving a Reward or Other Form of Benefit for Trading in Influence under Article 382 of the Criminal Code of FBiH and the criminal offense of Giving a Reward or Other Form of Benefit for Trading in Influence under Article 382a of the Criminal Code of FBiH", it was announced from POSKOK.

The contract was signed on April 28, and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Trade undertook to provide financial resources equivalent to the amount of 600,000 US dollars through a grant scheme for the establishment of a standardized start-up program, and to enable the selected local partner to use the license for the purpose of implementing the Program, while the Government of the Federation of BiH reserves the right to dispose of the license during the duration of the Program (four years).

The contract was signed with the representative of the internationally recognized accelerator program Techstars LLC (New York, USA), as the license holder and the representative of the Consortium "Techstars Sarajevo" whose members are 38X Ventures d.o.o. Sarajevo, Zendev d.o.o. Mostar and the Foundation for Socio-Economic Development 787 Sarajevo, as the local partner.
