Hammond and Steinmeier's Visit to Sarajevo: An Opportunity Not to Be Missed

Due to the visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina by the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom and the Federal Republic of Germany, Philip Hammond and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, a larger police presence could be seen on the streets of Sarajevo this morning, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Hammond and Steinmeier will visit Sarajevo today to discuss BiH's progress in the process of accession to the European Union and a new EU initiative. The foreign ministers will meet with members of the BiH Presidency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and leaders of political parties.

BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija stated that they are coming to give new impetus and send a new message to BiH that this is a new opportunity that we must not miss, NAP reports.
