Field's Visit to the Ministry of Justice and Administration of Sarajevo Canton: Continued Cooperation in the Fight Against Corruption

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Justice and Administration of Sarajevo Canton Lejla Brčić held a working meeting today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Matthew Field. The British government remains committed to the fight against all forms of corruption and crime. In this regard, Ambassador Field expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and the progress made in narrowing the space for corruption, achieved by this Ministry through the adoption of appropriate laws and the use of tools that increase transparency.

"The Ambassador is interested in the future measures we will use in the continuation of the fight against corruption. The Ministry's focus will be on prevention through projects to raise awareness among young people about this harmful phenomenon. Work will also be done on raising the personal integrity of public administration employees, protecting whistleblowers, and regulating the segment of awarding incentives and grants," said Minister Brčić.
