Dodik's visit agreed hastily - Borenović: Coalition brothers have captured BiH

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The uncoordinated visit of Milorad Dodik, member of the BiH Presidency, to Zagreb was agreed hastily and apparently in a rush.

As the Patria agency learns, the agreement on the visit and its confirmation were completed yesterday afternoon, specifically at 2 PM.

The reason for the rush by the Prime Minister and President of Croatia, Andrej Plenković and Zoran Milanović, on one side, and Dodik on the other, is currently unknown.

There are many suspicions surrounding the entire event, further fueled by the official Zagreb's message that the member of the BiH Presidency is coming to the Croatian capital as a representative of Serbs.

This all strongly resembles Karađorđevo and agreements on Bosnia and Herzegovina between Serbs and Croats, regardless of the fact that the largest ethnic group in BiH is the Bosniak people.

We asked the President of the Party of Democratic Progress, Branislav Borenović, for a comment on such a visit.

"I will not delve into the qualifications of how certain visits are characterized. In any case, this region is burdened with many problems. I expect every conversation to resolve some of these issues, which undoubtedly exist between BiH and Croatia, and these issues also concern one of the two equal BiH entities, Republika Srpska. We are eagerly awaiting the resolution of some open issues. There are the issues of Trgovska Gora, the border crossing in Novi Grad, and we will see what comes out of this meeting, which is being characterized in various ways, but we will see if Dodik will stop the construction of the nuclear waste storage facility at Trgovska Gora, or if it is something else entirely, we will know soon," Borenović told the Patria agency.

Regarding what kind of message such a visit sends, Borenović replies: "What messages are we talking about? We are hostages of the three ruling political parties, SNSD, SDA, HDZ. They have chosen each other. They have helped each other to put this country under their claws. Do not have any doubts, they are in power and that is a question for them. They are coalition brothers. Bakir Izetbegović, Dragan Čović, and Milorad Dodik are coalition brothers, and let them be held accountable for their actions in the institutions of BiH. They received mandates, they chose each other, especially in the House of Peoples of BiH, so that no other decision can be made without them. We will have to be patient, wait two years, and see if the people will support such messages or not," Borenović concluded in his statement to Patria.
