Visit to the DCPT: Čolak and Rančić spoke with Vilić and Jurić

Members of the Joint Commission for Defence and Security of BiH Bariša Čolak and Hazim Rančić today visited the headquarters of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH in Sarajevo, reports the Patria news agency.

Director Mirsad Vilić and his deputy Mile Jurić during the meeting, which was held at the Directorate, informed the members of the Joint Commission about the current situation in the Directorate, coordination in the work of police bodies of BiH and cooperation with police agencies and institutions from the security sector.

Director Vilić and his deputy Jurić reviewed the activities of the Directorate and coordination of police agencies in the previous period, where, among other things, they mentioned experiences regarding the events of February 2014, the security of the Holy Father's visit, and the events at the commemoration in Srebrenica.

Opinions were exchanged on legal solutions and competencies in the security sector in BiH and the need for more consistent implementation of existing legal solutions, the DCPT announced.

Also discussed were the preparations and participation of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH at the Fifth Security Conference, which will be held on November 4 and 5, 2015, organized by the Joint Commission for Defence and Security.
