Special traffic regime in and around Banja Luka due to Donald Trump's son's visit

(Patria) - Thanks to favorable weather conditions, the traffic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is good this morning, and traffic is operating without extraordinary restrictions on most routes. During the day, we expect an increased frequency of vehicles, especially on the approaches to narrower city zones, so we ask all road users to be maximally cautious and to respect all traffic regulations.

Due to significant damage, the Tuzla-Bijeljina main road (at Banj Brdo) is closed to all vehicles.

Traffic is slow and single-lane on the Zvornik-Priboj regional road (in Goduš).

Movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads over Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of macadam road), while trucks must use the roads via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to regular servicing of the Vis, 25. novembar, and Grab tunnels on the A-1 highway, the Tarčin-Lepenica section is closed. During the works, vehicles are directed in both directions on the right side of the highway.

Due to road repair works on the A-1 highway section Kakanj-Lašva, the left side of the highway is closed for a length of 3 km. During the works, vehicles are directed in both directions on the right side, in the direction of Lašva-Kakanj.

Due to necessary works on the A-1 highway sections Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi and Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane.

Due to repair works on expansion joints on the bridge on the M-17 Konjic-Tarčin main road (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic is diverted from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.

Due to works on the Tomislavgrad-Prisoje main road, traffic is single-lane with traffic lights.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

At the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Kostajnica, Kozarska Dubica, Gradina, Gradiška, and Orašje, there are long queues of passenger vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. Traffic is also increased at other border crossings to Croatia, but delays are currently up to 30 minutes.

Due to the visit of a foreign delegation, traffic for vehicles over 7.5 tons and vehicles transporting explosives will be prohibited today in the area of Banja Luka and Laktaši, from 10 AM to midnight on:

- the main road from Mahovljani airport to the Aleksandrovac toll plaza - Klasnice,
- on the Gradiška highway (Aleksandrovac) - Banja Luka (Jakupovci) and on all streets within the city of Banja Luka.
