Job for Tadić: RTRS reveals identity of protected witness that compromises Višković

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Radovan Višković, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, has not commented on allegations that he participated in the relocation of mass graves and concealment of locations, about which a case has been formed in the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. 

This case involves several individuals. 

The statement of protected witness M-16 directly links Radovan Višković to the locations of the Srebrenica genocide, as well as the subsequent concealment and relocation, and active encouragement in hiding mass graves.

Today, RTRS, as well as other media in RS, revealed the identity of the protected witness who testified before the Court of BiH that the current Prime Minister of RS, Radovan Višković, offered him money for the relocation of mass graves. Media from RS state that this is a media witch hunt from Sarajevo against Višković. 

The Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, reacted today to the disclosure of the protected witness's identity.

"So, @RTRSvijesti coldly disclosed the identity of a witness protected by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. This is a textbook criminal offense. Gordana Tadić will remain deaf to this as well and give Milorad Dodik's regime media free rein to intimidate witnesses," Suljagić stated. 

Journalists covering war crimes trials note that when it comes to protected witnesses, they have strict orders not to disclose the witness's identity under any circumstances, even if they know it. The court is rigorous in such cases. Whether the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will now act according to the law and sanction the disclosure of the protected witness's identity is a question that only Gordana Tadić and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH can answer.

According to information available to the Patria News Agency, Višković will most likely end up in the defendant's seat.
