Today, SDP BiH held Strategic Planning in Sarajevo. Presidents of local organizations from all over BiH and members of the SDP BiH Presidency were present at this event, reports the Patria News Agency.
Strategic Planning was opened by Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP, who spoke about the current political situation in BiH and the position of SDP. Nikšić particularly emphasized the importance of preserving and further strengthening the party's unity in the context of responding to the crisis that the current government has led BiH into.
He particularly emphasized that it is extremely important that SDP will support only those legal solutions that are in line with SDP's program principles and for the benefit of citizens. The Labor Law, as determined by the FBiH Government, will not receive our support because it is not harmonized with the unions and reduces workers' rights.
The upcoming Congress and elections for the President of SDP BiH, the preparation of the party's new Program and Statute, as well as preparations for the Local Elections in 2016 were also discussed at the Strategic Planning.
After the Strategic Planning, a session of the Main Board will be held on Saturday, at which elections for the President will be announced and a Decision on holding the Congress will be made, it was announced from SDP.
