Message from the protest in front of the BiH Prosecutor's Office: In war, they banned us from defending ourselves with an embargo, in peace, they are prosecuting us for defending ourselves!

(Patria) - Kasim Brdar, president of the Association Truth for Goražde, said that the prosecutors of the BiH Prosecutor's Office are not interested in the 1336 days of the siege of Goražde or who held and terrorized this city.

“On behalf of all victims and all of us, we are defending the truth about the war, defense, and aggression against our country. Today, friends from all over BiH will address you so that we send a message that we will not give up on truth and justice,” Brdar said.

Alija Hodžić spoke on behalf of the Association of Murdered Children of Sarajevo and said that the goal is to show the gentlemen in the Prosecutor's Office and the judiciary that they are not doing what they should.

“We have gathered to support the brave defenders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who they now want to convict for something we did not do. We must not give up our people, and we will never give them up, because they did not deserve it. I wonder if 1601 children are worth it, why are there no indictments for their killers, for the snipers,” Hadžić said.

He adds that he is most surprised by the international community, which only condemns and does nothing, as if they should suffer.

“Well, gentlemen from the international community, from the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH, we will not suffer. Where are the indictments from The Hague?” Hodžić concluded.

Kada Hotić from the Association “Movement of Mothers of the Enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa” also addressed the crowd and said that they are here today in the fight for justice.

“We could not fight during the aggression because the international community banned us from defending ourselves, and they are the first culprits, followed by our neighbors from Serbia and Croatia. It is clear to everyone in the world who is guilty, and the aggressor was rewarded with half the country. Today we face total injustice, genocide is denied, criminals are glorified, and people who tried to defend themselves are arrested. They have been persecuting us for 30 years. Do we need this country? Yes, we do, because we have no other. We must tell the successors the truth, because as long as we are alive, we must fight for truth and justice. Shame on the BiH Prosecutor's Office. They say it's Milanko Kajganić. The punishment for guilty prosecutors and judges is known,” Hotić said and concluded, let's not give up Bosnia and Herzegovina!

Hajrudin Isović, representative of the Veterans’ Disability Association in the diaspora, emphasized that they came to support their comrades and that all those who file indictments against those who defended Bosnia and Herzegovina should be ashamed.

“We are now outside BiH, but Bosnian blood flows in our veins, which we will shed for Bosnia and Herzegovina, if necessary,” Isović stated.
Mujo Aganović from the Alliance of War Veterans of BiH and Paraplegics of FBiH said to hold their heads high and not be ashamed of their honorable struggle.

“The international community must order Serbia and Croatia to withdraw their hands and noses from Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Aganović added.
