Message to pro-Bosnian leaders: Gather and call patriots to defend the country, otherwise put on skirts and flee!

We have witnessed, more than ever before, that Serbian politics has ventured into uncertain territories, but with a clearly defined goal. And the goal is the realization of centuries-old dreams of a pan-Serbian state. Once these dreams were called Greater Serbia, today they are called the Serbian World. Whatever the dreams are called, the common name for the consequences of their realization is the disappearance of Bosniaks as the pillars of Bosnia. And when the pillar collapses, the house cannot stand.

The Assembly of the Serb People in BiH, which according to Dayton rules we call the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS), showed yesterday more clearly than ever that the nineties are not only being prepared, but will certainly be repeated. What the UN Tribunal in The Hague ruled, what experts from around the world have clearly proven, is not enough for Serbian politics in BiH to acknowledge the committed genocide. That is why they spent half the day repeating that there is no question of genocide. They also stated that it is impossible to deal with Bosniaks who constantly talk about genocide.

Then the rally happened. Messages that evoke memories of the dawn before the aggression echoed through Banja Luka. Serbs want and must live in one state. The capital for Serbs is Belgrade. And the new Lazar is Aleksandar Vučić. The motive for convening the rally is completely irrelevant, just as the motives were irrelevant when Milošević convened them.

However, the worst of all is the fact that the morning after the demonstration of the pan-Serbian intention to realize the Serbian World is not what they told us. It is devastating and greatly worrying that those responsible for defending the pillars that hold Bosnia, and consequently Bosnia itself, have absolutely no response.

Sporadic posts on social networks and political statements from Dodik's partners in power can only guarantee that Bosnia and Bosniaks will disappear in silence. Because, while they write one thing, they tell foreigners to ease up on Dodik a bit, because he is good for compromise and a partner for the illusion of the European path. And these are the only reactions.

True, the reactions to what we witnessed yesterday should not be writings, open letters, statements, and appeals for someone to save us. We don't need that spot from the Ministry of Defense about the Armed Forces in which they talk about “Our Strength”, when we know that it is a three-part military formation.

We, and they too, those from yesterday, need a clear answer that the moment they start realizing their dreams of the Serbian World, it will be the last time they ever have the opportunity to dream such a thing.

Professor Zlatan Begić noticed a serious anomaly in pro-Bosnian politics yesterday – they have never set any ultimatums. That's probably why foreigners are used to fulfilling Dodik's and Vučić's demands when they make noise.

This time it must be different. Pro-Bosnian and Bosniak politics must be decisive this time and react promptly to the declaration of war, which Ognjen Bodiroga in the NSRS also understood, as he is worried that he doesn't even know how to clean a rifle.

Therefore, a prompt reaction is necessary in the next seven days. All those who feel politically responsible for the fate of Bosnia and Herzegovina must gather in one place. Spiritual leaders of Bosniaks, as well as everyone who can contribute to the defense of this country, must be present at that gathering. And from such a meeting, the first goal must be a call to defend the homeland. Therefore, if Dodik shows Serbian strength in Banja Luka, he must be answered with a stronger measure in Sarajevo.

Therefore, Sarajevo must respond more strongly and loudly and make it clear to Dodik, as well as to the international community, that any attempt to redraw borders and strike at the internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina will mean the erasure of the entity of Republika Srpska by all available means.

That message must be sent from a gathering that will be larger than Dodik's and where all leaders of the pro-Bosnian political spectrum who respond to the call of the homeland will stand side by side. Another reason for this type of reaction and for taking action on all other fronts is the seriously disturbed geopolitical balance. With two war hotspots (the Middle East and Ukraine), as well as elections in the EU and the US, we can hardly rely on the Dayton provision that NATO will defend us. NATO may defend peace, but that does not automatically mean it will defend Bosnia, because Dodik himself announces that the separation will be peaceful when he senses the right moment for it.

Regardless of what we have seen in Bosnian politics from Dayton to today, regardless of all political struggles, disagreements, and conflicts, the day when the homeland calls because its survival is threatened must be the day when these disagreements cease.

And therefore, this is a message from the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose patriotism should not be doubted: Gather around the idea of defending Bosnia, call the patriots, and show the world that Bosnia cannot fall with a whisper. If you cannot or will not, put on skirts and leave, no matter what your name is. Because while you calmly watch the state perish and disappear, you are worse than Dodik in his worst form!
