MESSAGE FROM DF - Đonlagić: We cannot negotiate while Dodik is destroying the state to appease Čović

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Regarding the announcement of negotiations on amendments to the Election Law of BiH in Neum, the position of the Democratic Front was presented by Dženan Đonlagić, General Secretary of the Party and member of the state Inter-agency Working Group on amendments to electoral legislation.

“We thank you for the invitation, but the Democratic Front, as long as the coup d'état carried out by Milorad Dodik continues, cannot participate in negotiations that seek to appease Dragan Čović. We also do not think it is good to discuss key state issues in hotels and restaurants instead of state institutions, but everyone is free to meet as they wish,” Đonlagić stated. 

We recall that today negotiations on amendments to the Election Law and the Constitution of BiH continued under the patronage of the US-European delegation consisting of Matthew Palmer and Angelina Eichhorst.

From Thursday, these negotiations will continue in Neum, and the attendance of party presidents has so far been confirmed by People and Justice, SBB, HDZ BiH, while Our Party conditioned its attendance on the inclusion of their proposals in the agenda.

The presidents of the SDP BiH and DF will not attend the meeting.
