Families of victims Selma and Edita outraged: Sefić's sister provoked the audience and witnesses!

At the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo today, the retrial of Sanjin Sefić and others continued. He is charged with killing Selma Agić and Edita Malkoč with a car on October 10 last year in Sarajevo's Zmaja od Bosne street.

Given that the trial started anew because more than 30 days had passed between two hearings, the fathers of the deceased girls, witness Anesa Ernagić, and SIPA employee Muamer Redžić again endured agony today.

The father of the deceased Selma Agić, Amir Agić, said he will never give up and thanked the media for covering this case.

- Sefić's sister provoked us, and while we were speaking, I and witness Anesa Ernagić, who was describing how she saw our children flying through the air after the impact, Sara was cursing and laughing. Police officers drew the judge's attention, and he warned her. There is no state, there is nothing. We lost our loved ones, and now we have to endure more humiliation, injustice, and provocation - said Agić.

The father of the deceased Edita, Enes Malkoč, could not speak due to stress, but through tears he said he thinks the same as Agić.

Amir Agić says this was his most stressful day in the last seven months, and he asked the court why the proceedings were repeated.

- I asked why they weren't punished. The judge did not allow cameras to record our testimonies, even though we requested it. He said the accused and the defense objected and that we have no right to request such a thing. In this entire process, we are nobody and nothing – emphasized Agić.

He also finds it unclear how defense attorneys are allowed to be so harsh and not consider their feelings as parents whose daughters died. Sanjin Sefić's attorney is Kerim Čelik, appointed ex officio. 

The other accused are Sara Sefić, Dino Alić, and Amar Salihović, and Saud Nišić, who are charged with helping Sanjin Sefić flee Bosnia and Herzegovina on the same night and assisting after the commission of the criminal offense. Saud Nišić's attorney is Omar Mehmedbašić, appointed ex officio. The other attorneys for the accused are Rusmir Karkin, Safet Medošević, and Tarik Čingić.

The trial was tense, and Sanjin Sefić's sister, Sara, was even ready to confront the audience, prompting court police to react. Witness Anesa Ernagić even cried during her testimony due to the pressure exerted on her.

The next hearing is scheduled for September 4, when nine witnesses will be heard.
