Martyr Families Received Monetary Donations Ahead of Eid al-Adha

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, a traditional reception was held in the Municipality of Centar for members of 20 martyr families, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The reception was attended by the Chairman of the Municipal Council Centar Nedžad Ajnadžić and Deputy Chairman of the Council Slaven Kovačević, and on behalf of the Mayor Dževad Bećirević, his advisor Mustafa Resić. On this occasion, symbolic monetary donations from the Municipality in the amount of 100 KM were presented to the family members.

Welcoming and congratulating the members of the martyr families on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Chairman Ajnadžić stated that Mayor Dževad Bećirević has the full support of the legislative authority of the Municipality Centar in these activities.

- We want to help even more, but this is realistic and as much as we can. In the coming years, we hope that the envelopes will be more numerous, but also larger - emphasized Ajnadžić.

Advisor Resić, along with congratulations for the upcoming religious holiday, said that this is an opportunity to remember those who gave their lives for the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Monetary donations were received by: Hajra Arapović, Ramiza Begić, Senada Begić-Ferizi, Nezira Gacka, Safija Gljiva, Rukija Habul, Amela Kruščica, Indira Kušmić, Mehdi Krasnić, Šaban Kurtagić, Devla Leventa, Admir Merđan, Raba Numanović, Satka Preljević, Munira Salčin, Nura Salihić, Rasema Salihović, Eldara Sulejmanović, Mulka Zoronjić, Džemal Zukobašić.

The reception was also attended by the Mayor's assistants for veteran-disability protection and for economy and finance Đulaga Hamza and Fahrudin Kurtović, the president of the Municipal Association of Martyr Families and Fallen Soldiers Ramiza Šejto, and the president of the Association of Holders of the "Golden Lily" and "Golden Police Badge" of the Municipality Centar Zijad Škamo.
