(Patria) - Inspectors of the Tax Administration (PU) of FBiH - cantonal tax administrations of Tuzla, Mostar, Ljubuški, Zenica, Bihać, Livno and Goražde conducted 121 inspections from July 15 to 20.
These inspections covered taxpayers engaged in hospitality, trade, bakery, as well as city pools and hospitality facilities within them.
Controls were carried out during working hours, as well as on weekends in the afternoon and night, with the aim of verifying compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of undeclared workers.
During the controls, Tax Administration inspectors discovered 80 undeclared workers, nine taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed, 68 taxpayers who did not record sales through a fiscal device, and eight facilities that did not have a work permit issued by the competent authority.
Due to the established irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, failure to record sales through a fiscal device, absence of an installed fiscal device, and operating without a permit, 14 facilities were sealed.
104 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of 284,350.00 KM in fines, and one request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings.
The PU of FBiH will continue to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the grey economy in the coming days, therefore taxpayers with established irregularities are urged to align their operations and respect the laws to avoid sanctions and unnecessary costs.
