FBiH Tax Administration: Public revenue collection on the rise, 3.9 billion KM paid in six months

(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs the public that taxpayers in the Federation of BiH paid 3,938,575,394 KM in public revenues in the period January – June 2024, which is 280,805,199 KM or 7.68% more compared to January – June 2023.

Public revenue payments in the period January-June 2024 compared to January-June 2023 by canton are shown in the following table:

In the structure of public revenues for the period January – June 2024: corporate income tax and arrears of corporate income tax were collected in the amount of 389,962,004 KM, personal income tax and arrears of personal income tax were collected in the amount of 380,507,379 KM, real estate and rights transfer tax was collected in the amount of 44,626,479 KM, property, inheritance and gift tax was collected in the amount of 30,384,267 KM, arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 193,445 KM, fees and charges were collected in the amount of 379,264,616 KM, fines were collected in the amount of 32,163,921 KM, membership fees were collected in the amount of 7,765,026 KM, other public revenues were collected in the amount of 1,792,482 KM.

In the period January-June 2024, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance were collected in the total amount of 2,671,692,043 KM.

In the structure of contributions in the period January-June 2024, the following were collected:

-contributions for PIO/MIO in the amount of 1,497,089,406 KM,
-contributions for health insurance in the amount of 1,051,888,957 KM,
-contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 122,713,681 KM.

The number of employees by place of residence of the employee as of June 30, 2024 is 549,119. Compared to the published data on the number of employees as of June 30, 2023, when the number of employees was 542,840, this number is higher by 6,279, and compared to the previously published data on the number of employees as of May 31, 2024, when it was 548,183, it is higher by 936.
