(Patria) - Ahead of the upcoming May Day holidays, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will conduct intensified inspection supervision of the legality of business operations of taxpayers in the FBiH.
The controls will cover taxpayers engaged in the sale of meat and meat products, trade, and other service activities.
Inspection supervision will focus on verifying compliance with the provisions of the Law on the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Law on Fiscal Systems in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Law on the Unified System of Registration, Control, and Collection of Contributions, the Law on Contributions, and other tax laws.
The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls on taxpayers to align their operations with the law, to register every employee, to use fiscal devices, to issue fiscal receipts, and to record every individual transaction through a fiscal device and transmit the data on transactions to the Tax Administration's server, thereby avoiding the risk of business closure and high fines.
Furthermore, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reminds citizens that they are obliged to request a fiscal receipt for every purchased good or service rendered.
In order to increase tax discipline, the Tax Administration invites citizens to report non-compliance with tax laws, employment of unregistered workers, non-issuance of fiscal receipts, and other corrupt practices by calling the toll-free number 080 020 333, sending SMS messages to the mobile number 061 724 610, or via e-mail at [email protected] and [email protected], or by mail to Husrefa Redžića 4, Sarajevo, marked "Irregularities".
