DEVASTATING IN FBiH 355,210 pensioners receive pensions less than 500 KM

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In accordance with the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, pensions for the month of December will be paid through the Unified Treasury Account of the FBiH, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Based on the Decree of the Government of the Federation of BiH on the monetary amount of pension as support for pensioners in FBiH, all beneficiaries of pensions from the FZ MIO/PIO who are residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive a one-time monetary amount of 50 KM along with their December pension. The monetary amount is not paid to beneficiaries of disability benefits, nor to pension beneficiaries who are employed.

The monetary amount is paid only to pension beneficiaries who were in the payment records on the day this decree came into force. Beneficiaries of the right to a divisible family pension are entitled to the payment of a divisible monetary amount.

The average independent pension is 489.70 KM, which will be received by 355,210 beneficiaries.

The lowest pension is 382.18 KM, the guaranteed pension is 478.91 KM, and the highest is 2,174.48 KM.

A total of 429,545 beneficiaries will receive the December pension, while 362,995 pensioners qualified for the one-time monetary amount.

The total funds required for pension payments, including costs for the month of December, amount to approximately 214 million KM.
