Filling POSKOK: Prosecutors Appointed as Judges of the Special Department of the Supreme Court of FBiH

(Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) today appointed prosecutors and judges to the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Inter-cantonal Crime of the Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme Court of FBiH.
Hrvoje Čabrajić was elected as the head of POSKOK.

The HJPC also appointed prosecutors: Aida Bešlija, Nina Šahinpašić, Samir Selimović, Jovo Karić, Aid Hadžismailović, Amra Mehmedić, and Medina Džerahović.

Judges Igor Todorović, Mersudin Pružan, Senad Osmić, Enisa Adrović, Pavo Radoš, Ajla Papović-Mujan, and Željko Rezo were also appointed. A new competition will be announced for the remaining positions.

Regarding the judges, most of them are prosecutors from both cantonal and state prosecutor's offices. From the ranks of judges, only Igor Todorović and Ajla Papović-Mujan were appointed.

Given that a large number of prosecutors are from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, a request from the Chief Cantonal Prosecutor Meliha Dugalija to the HJPC to announce a competition for prosecutors can be expected in the coming period.
