Flooded areas of Ilidža municipality, Bosna and Zujevina rivers overflowed

In the area of Ilidža municipality, there has been a minimal decrease in river water levels. The most endangered settlements are still Osijek I, specifically Hendekuša, Bregovi, Osječki put  and Bratunačka street, followed by the areas of Blažuj, Vlakovo  and Rakovica (Rakovička street). The Civil Protection of Ilidža Municipality has distributed sandbags to residents of endangered areas. Civil Protection teams are still on the ground and on standby.

In the area of Ilidža municipality, the Bosna and Zujevina rivers have overflowed and the areas in MZ Osjek are currently endangered: Karamušići, Bratunačka street and Osječki put. The area of the Agricultural Farm in MZ Stup is endangered, where the first row of houses on Bregovi street is flooded. 

Due to the rain that has been falling since Sunday, river water levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina have risen. The highest measured rainfall was in Stolac and Gacko, 117 and 111 mm per square meter, respectively, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

According to measurements by the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute, the Bosna river in Reljevo has reached a level of 410 cm, the Miljacka near Ćumurija bridge 169 cm, the Sana in Sanski Most 293 cm, and all have a tendency to rise.

As announced by the Municipality of Ilidža, floods occurred due to heavy rainfall. In Rakovička street, behind the Hulio sawmill, ten houses are flooded, and houses are also flooded in Vlakovo, Stara pruga, Stanjevac streets. Ten houses are flooded in Plantaže street.

According to information gathered from the field, the Miljacka and Bosna are rising and fifty houses are endangered. Streets Karamušići, Osječki put, Bregovi, Hendekuša are also flooded. The road connection Pejton - Otes is closed. Civil Protection members evacuated Behka Zebo, whose house is behind the Hulio sawmill.

All consumers are supplied with electricity. Ilidža Civil Protection members are on the ground and are on standby for all activities.
