Flooded, muddy, and poor, but it's ours

Democratic Front – Željko Komšić held an election rally last night in Donji Vakuf and Bugojno, presenting candidates for all levels of government in the 2014 General Elections, reports Patria.

Amir Orlović, a candidate for the cantonal assembly, stated that, like many cities in our beautiful homeland, Donji Vakuf is a city that the current authorities have brought to the brink of ruin in the past twenty years.

- A city where people know how relatives, party loyalists, and obedient followers are employed from the party, how administrative and supervisory boards, directors of public enterprises and institutions are appointed, based on the principle of five loyalists being better than one capable person - Orlović pointed out.

Rusmin Jusufspahić, a candidate for the cantonal Assembly, emphasized that healthcare workers, due to the problems they face daily, are unable to adequately respond to patients' needs.

Ilhan Bušatlić, a candidate for the Federal Parliament, said that the Bugojno List Club, which includes people of different nationalities and is the only multi-ethnic club in the municipal council, has shown how people of different faiths can work together.

Vlatko Glavaš, a candidate for the state Parliament, stressed the importance of going to the polls, and thus changing the situation in the country, and stated:

- This country is flooded, muddy, and poor, but it is ours, and we will make it better. Democratic Front – Željko Komšić is determined to do so, so be determined too and vote on October 12th.

Emir Suljagić, the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also addressed the attendees. Suljagić said: "The strength of the parties in power is 500,000 unemployed and the fact that every sixth citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina is hungry, that 20,000 citizens live on one meal a day. Their strength is soup kitchens for the citizens of BiH, while the leaders of those two parties amass huge personal wealth."
