The United Nations has declared a state of emergency in the Gaza Strip due to floods caused by heavy rains that have been falling in recent days, reports bbc.com, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Although the latest reports indicate no casualties, hundreds of people have had to leave their homes and have been accommodated in collective centers. The population has not yet recovered from the conflict and shelling that lasted about 50 days, and now they have once again had to leave their homes.
