Poplašen raised alarm across BiH, while Stanić has been sitting on the Steering Board of the Agency for Education for years!

Following the SDS proposal for the appointment of Milenko Stanić as Vice-Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a great dust has been raised, writes the Patria news agency.

Stanić's profile is evidenced by the fact that he was the alpha and omega during the war in Vlasenica, most responsible for the formation of the Sušica death camp through which over 8,000 Bosniaks passed, where children were killed and women raped. Stanić decided who would be killed and who would be spared. During the war, he moved into the apartment of Ibro Nuhanović, whom he expelled and robbed. The suspect was a defense witness for Mladić and other criminals, and he himself is on the list of 850 names indicted by the Hague Tribunal, and it is logical that Bosniaks have finally risen and raised their voices against the appointment of criminals to high state positions.

Recently, we had the opportunity to witness public condemnation when the House of Peoples of BiH appointed Nikola Poplašen, former President of the RS and Chetnik duke, as one of the members of the Steering Board of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH. Of course, the public reaction came as a result of media reporting.

However, what escaped many, and happened four years ago, is that it is precisely Milenko Stanić from the beginning of the story who was appointed to the Steering Board of the Agency for Higher Education of BiH!?

In the Joint Commission of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH for the appointment of members of the Steering Board of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance in 2012, the members were Nermina Zaimović-Uzunović, Božo Ljubić, Petar Kunić, Mehmed Bradarić, Krstan Simić, and Borjana Krišto.

Thus, Stanić with such a bloody past has already been serving as a member of the Steering Board of the Agency for Higher Education for four full years. However, to make the paradox even greater, and in order to calm the public after the „Poplašen case“, some deputies proposed that instead of Poplašen as the top-ranked on the list, Stanić should enter the Steering Board, but Sadik Ahmetović, a deputy in the House of Representatives, reacted by saying he would rather vote for Poplašen than Stanić.

Incidentally, the position of a member of the Steering Board of the Agency for Education from the Serbian people is still vacant. (acz)
