Law on Establishment of Assistance Fund Re-established, 5 Million KM Allocated for 36 Municipalities

The Government of the Federation of BiH at today's session held in Mostar, re-established the Draft Law on the Establishment of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas from Natural Disasters in the FBiH, after the Draft Law was not adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament yesterday, it was announced from the Government of FBiH, reports Patria.

The Government also adopted several decisions whose common goal is to secure as much funds as possible intended for assistance to areas of the Federation of BiH affected by floods and landslides. Among other things, these are decisions on amendments to the spending program with criteria for the distribution of funds established by the FBiH Budget for 2014 to individual federal ministries. Funds secured in this way will also help, among other things, in the reconstruction of the affected areas.

The Government of FBiH adopted the Decision on allocating a portion of funds in the total amount of approximately 5,000,000 KM, as assistance to areas affected by natural disasters. The funds are allocated from the economic code "Current transfers to areas affected by natural disasters", and are intended as assistance to citizens in 36 municipalities of the Federation of BiH whose residential buildings were completely destroyed or damaged due to natural disasters.

The Federal Government adopted the Information on the problem of registering business entities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and tasked the Federal Ministry of Justice to immediately initiate the registration process in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement in FBiH.

The Draft Law on Financial Management and Control in the Public Sector in FBiH, and the Draft Law on Federal Administrative Fees and the Tariff of Federal Administrative Fees were established.

The Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for Public Awareness, Destruction and Control of Ragweed Spread in the FBiH and the Information on Approved Transfers for Agriculture in accordance with the Spending Program "Incentives for Agriculture" established by the FBiH Budget for 2013 were adopted.
