(Patria) - As of 7:30 PM, the Sarajevo - Konjic main road section (on Bradina) has been reopened for traffic, which was closed due to a tanker truck blocking the road, announced BIHAMK.
Long queues of vehicles have formed on both sides, so it will take some time for traffic to fully normalize.
Due to a major landslide, the M-17.5 Jablanica-Blidinje main road section is closed for all vehicles.
According to collected data, traffic on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina today is on wet or damp road surfaces.
Light to moderate snow is falling in higher mountain areas and is accumulating on the road in places.
Notable road sections include: Ripač-Vrtoče, Drvar-Bosanski Petrovac (Oštrelj), Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac (Lanište), Kupres-Livno, Glamoč-Mlinište, Gornji Vakuf-Prozor/Rama (Makljen), Olovo-Kladanj, Sarajevo-Konjic, Sarajevo-Olovo, Sarajevo-Rogatica, and Trnovo-Foča.
In the areas of Mostar and Čapljina, strong gusts of wind are warned about, and BIHAMK also draws attention to frequent rock and soil falls onto the road.
They urge drivers to be as cautious as possible, maintain distance between vehicles, and not to travel without winter equipment.
Landslide repairs are underway in the village of Sijeračke stijene on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road, where traffic will be halted for up to 45 minutes between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Works are also ongoing on the sections: Semizovac-Olovo, Zavidovići-Vozuća (in Krivaja), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, Bileća-Trebinje (at Žudojevići), Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), as well as at the entrance to Neum.
At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles range from 10 to 30 minutes.
