KS Assembly session interrupted again, quorum "maintained" by SDA and DF

(Patria) - At today's second continuation of the 8th working session of the KS Assembly, the discussion on the Declaration for the preservation of sanitary protection zones and the quality of drinking water for the "Sarajevsko polje" water source, which was ultimately not adopted, lasted almost the entire day with breaks.

The Assembly continued its work, and delegates repeatedly warned the Assembly leadership that there were not enough delegates in the hall for a quorum. The quorum was maintained by delegates from SDA, DF, and SBiH.

Reports on the operations of public institutions and companies for 2019, 2020, and 2021 sparked a debate among delegates who felt that reports several years old should not be adopted.

Delegates supported the report of the Therapeutic Community - Campus KS for 2021, while the reports of the Center "Skenderija" for 2019 and 2020 were not adopted, meaning they did not receive a single delegate vote.


During the voting on these items at the session, delegates from Our Party (5), SDP (4), SBiH (4), NIP (1), and several delegates from SDA and DF were present, with a total of 18 abstentions for these reports.

No members of the KS Government were present at the session either.

@vladaks_ was not present at the session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.
Quorum was tight - thanks to the opposition.
