Recount of votes from 12 polling stations

The Central Election Commission of BiH at today's session made a decision ordering a recount of ballot papers from 12 polling stations in 10 basic electoral units for certain election levels, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The count will take place on Thursday, 23.10.2012, starting at 10:00 AM at the Main Counting Center in Sarajevo, in the presence of election observers. The order followed a report submitted to the Central Election Commission of BiH by the chief controller for processing, entering, and confirming the voting results for the General Elections 2014, stating that it is not possible to verify the election results at these polling stations from the summary form prepared by the polling station committees, as they show significant deviations in the accuracy test.

A recount of ballot papers has been ordered for the following polling stations:
050A002 and 050A015 in the basic electoral unit of Tuzla for election level 403;
133A015 and 133A098 in the basic electoral unit of Novi Grad Sarajevo for election level 407;
049A038 in the basic electoral unit of Srebrenik for election level 403;
003A060A in the basic electoral unit of Bihać for election levels 401 and 511;
001A015A in the basic electoral unit of Velika Kladuša for election level 401;
004A003 in the basic electoral unit of Bosanska Krupa for election levels 401, 201, and 511;
047A037 in the basic electoral unit of Lukavac for election level 403;
052A012 in the basic electoral unit of Čelić for election levels 403 and 515;
117A014 in the basic electoral unit of Breza for election level 406;
185B009 in the basic electoral unit of Milići for election level 307;

The opening of security bags from polling station 106A023 in the basic electoral unit of Livno has also been ordered, as the result forms from that polling station were allegedly packed into the bags. If the forms are not found in the bags, the ballot papers from the mentioned polling station for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, and Canton 10 will be recounted again.

Important: Candidates of political parties, coalitions, and independent candidates appearing on the ballot for which a recount is being conducted, accredited observers for the electoral units covered by the decision on recounting ballot papers, as well as accredited observers for the Main Counting Center, may be present during the count, reports the Patria agency.

We remind you that the CEC previously announced that votes would be recounted from 19 polling stations, which, together with these 12, makes a total of 31 polling stations.
