Pomozi.ba organized lunch for residents of Drin Institute

On the occasion of November 25, Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association "Pomozi.ba" from Sarajevo organized a festive lunch for the residents of the Institute for the Care of Mentally Disabled Persons "Drin" in Fojnica, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The lunch was organized in cooperation with the "Muharem Berbić" Foundation, and on that occasion, these organizations visited the residents of this Institute, numbering 510 with various categories of disabilities.

- We are simply not aware of how happy and satisfied we should be with the mere fact that we can take care of ourselves, and that we do not need the support of other people in performing basic life functions. Only when you visit this Institute do you see how little it really takes to bring a smile to the faces of the residents. Small things make a big difference in the everyday lives of these people - stated the Association.

This is just one of a series of visits to institutions that deal with improving the quality of life of vulnerable categories of society, which this Association has realized with the aim of helping these people.
