Pomozi.ba: People collecting money for treatments on the streets and in cafes are not our activists

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Given the large number of reports we have received in the past few days, we are obliged to inform the public again that several fraudsters are trying to take money from citizens on the streets of Sarajevo on behalf of the Pomozi.ba organization.

This was announced by the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba.

„According to the information we have received, there are individuals who falsely present themselves as activists of the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba, and in catering establishments and on the streets allegedly collect money for sick children. Some even carry fake IDs and cash boxes with the Pomozi.ba logo. We must emphasize once again that these are not our activists! Employees and volunteers of the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba do not collect money in this way for any humanitarian actions. All projects, activities and appeals we launch are transparent and can be found on our website and Facebook page.“ 

The humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba asks all citizens that if they notice people asking for money in this way, to report to the organization where exactly such individuals are located and to try to take photos of them so that concrete information and evidence can be forwarded to the police.
