
(Patria) - Prim.dr. Zlatko Kravić, director of the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", yesterday invited retired infectologists, epidemiologists, neurologists, gynecologists and surgeons, if they feel capable of working and wish to help in this situation, to report to the hospital.
The call was also extended to all available doctors as well as doctors who are unemployed.
Former director of the General Hospital, prim. dr. Bakir Nakaš, an infectologist, as well as prim.dr. Dragan Stevanović, an internist and former head of the Department of Internal Medicine, immediately responded to this call.
Prim.dr. Željko Ler, an epidemiologist and former director of the Public Health Institute of FBiH, also responded to the call.
We remind you that the Crisis Staff of the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš" continuously monitors the hygienic-epidemiological situation and adopts measures in accordance with the instructions of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton.
Furthermore, visits to patients were previously banned, hygiene and other measures have been intensified at the hospital, and the mandatory use of protective masks has been introduced. According to the order of the Crisis Staff, and in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, only essential specialist-consultation examinations are performed at the General Hospital, as assessed by a specialist and the family medicine team, it was announced from the General Hospital.
