Politics has brought the citizens and peoples of Sarajevo Canton to the brink of conflict – agree or dissolve the Assembly!

The political dilettantism of the majority of the 35 representatives in the legislative body of Sarajevo Canton has brought the citizens and peoples of Sarajevo Canton into a situation of general division and conflict. True, these conflicts are only taking place on social networks and in verbal communication, but who can guarantee that the chaos from social networks will not spill over onto the streets of Sarajevo and its surrounding municipalities.

And it all started with turncoats, or more accurately, political opportunists. However, let's start from the beginning.

From the very first day of the new convocation of the Cantonal Parliament, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) was working to undermine the majority embodied by the "six".

The former student of SDA, Elmedin Konaković, and a key player of the "six", often claimed that "these are spins, because if they could, they would do it." The student underestimated the teacher this time. SDA could, they were just waiting for a moment that suited them for some reason.

They took two players from the "six" – SBB and DF, formed their 18, and robustly launched an attack. The student Konaković, however, learned something in his former party, so he decided to stop SDA through procedures. When he realized that this would not be enough, he made a chess move, appointing Danijela Kristić as the head of the Assembly. Because Danijela is a Croat, if SDA and its satellites try to overthrow her, Konaković will invoke vital national interest. If, on the other hand, they leave her at the head of the Assembly, then there will be no place for Mario Nenadić in the planned prime ministerial position, all due to national balance.

SDA plus satellites elected their speaker, but without the seal, because the old guard of SDA's school, Elmedin Konaković, hid it.

And a stalemate was reached.

Dino has the seal, Danijela, and vital interest. SDA has Mirza and 18 votes, which they obtained by trading their honor, principles, and Fahrudin Radončić's readiness to swallow all of SDA's terror.
 
There was also trading with political opportunists. Unfortunately, there are more and more of them lately. Petty souls enter politics precisely because they are destitute and count on a quick profit, and the best profit is if you are the deciding factor on the political scale.

And then everything stopped.

Neither the left nor the right had any option for a quality move anymore. A media conflict began, with very possible consequences for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the style of militant groups from some African countries, the two blocs decided to involve the masses in everything. And the masses, in such a charged atmosphere, grow like mushrooms after rain. And day by day, they become more agitated.

Bakir Izetbegović, Fahrudin Radončić, Željko Komšić, Elmedin Konaković, Nermin Nikšić, Predrag Kojović, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, and a few political showmen with an unlimited desire for enrichment, decided to divide the only Canton where the state functions to some extent. Or at least it functioned before their split. Fighters for the interests of the state and citizens – the people – decided to turn democracy into anarchy.

And anarchy in any corner of the country can easily lead to conflict with immeasurable consequences.

Because the citizens – the people in Sarajevo Canton, through the public actions of the aforementioned political figures, were forced to take sides.

Thus, we have reached a situation where two brothers or two friends rarely or never communicate today, because they are on different platforms and cheering for different political teams. Moreover, both brothers and both friends are poor, and that poverty first imposes radical views on them, and then leads them into conflict.

Today, a taxi driver from Sarajevo asked me, "What do you think about Jasna Duraković's decision to remain with the KS Government even though the party on whose list she was elected decided to overthrow it?". The same taxi driver also asks me about the chances of the Government led by Edin Forto remaining in power. I answered him that political turncoats always switch sides for their own interest. There are no turncoats who switch for the people. That ride became strange; he defended the current KS Government so strongly that I thought he would throw me out of the vehicle before the final destination.

Last night, a friend who is a member of SDA called, he asked how many votes SDA has, whether "they," meaning SDP, Our Party, People and Justice, and their partners, will manage to "buy someone from those who are now with SDA.".

Both the taxi driver and my friend, and everyone else I've talked to in recent days about the political situation in Sarajevo Canton, have one identical trait. While we talk, they mention mothers, fathers, families to those they call "enemies.".

The city on the Miljacka and the municipalities that gravitate towards it within the Canton have become a small North Korea. They are not divided by the Miljacka, nor by other rivers and streams, but by political infighting, mainly by the largely false representatives of the people's interests in the KS Assembly and their party leaders.

The struggle for power and money has divided PEOPLE, who just over 20 years ago were one body and one soul in their plea for a little freedom. Today they cry out for a little air and "victory for our side.".

Because of that cry for political dominance, they take pills for high blood pressure. And those "on our side" are slowly taking OUR money and don't care about the supporters, who are mostly destitute with a lot of free time.

Several so-called groups with several thousand members have been formed on social networks, where everything on the "other" side is denigrated. In the comments below media articles, verbal wars between mercenaries and bots are taking place.

Neither the SDA leadership nor the parties behind the current Government need such a division. Because if they bring the citizens and peoples into a situation where, after verbal exchanges, they measure their strength in the streets, then the majority, principles, and responsibility will no longer matter to anyone.

It is too late to save the situation, and the situation is tense. Either they sit down URGENTLY and democratically agree on what and how to proceed, or they dissolve the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton and call for early elections. Then let the quarreling people decide with a pencil.

Otherwise, it will not end well.
