SDA Political Academy: Ivana Marić does not belong in the Konrad Adenauer Foundation

(Patria) - The SDA Political Academy has been a long-term partner of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

Support in implementing projects that strengthen peace, freedom, and dialogue is a confirmation of Germany's European civilizational orientation and rich democratic heritage.

"Respecting the leading principles of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the values, and the democratic responsibility that Germany cherishes, we call on the representation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina to reconsider the position of project manager for Ivana Marić. Her Islamophobic public statements, which sow division in BiH society and cause public unrest, are contrary to the Foundation's goals, damage its reputation, and harm its mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind that the SDA Political Academy, as early as January 2023, informed the KAS Representation in BiH and the KAS Headquarters in Germany, through a letter to the then director Mr. Sven Petke, that it would not cooperate on projects led by Ivana Marić. Her latest public statements confirm the correctness of our earlier stance," stated the director of the SDA Political Academy of BiH.
