Politicians must be louder in protecting Bosniak returnees in RS

The Municipal Committee of the Democratic Front from Bratunac demands urgent condemnation of increasingly frequent attacks on Bosniak returnees in eastern Bosnia, as well as an urgent response from the RS Ministry of Interior and prosecutor's offices, from which they expect to find and prosecute the attackers on returnees.

They warned that the reactions of Bosniak politicians, especially those from the currently leading Bosniak political party SDA, must be sharper and more concrete when it comes to protecting Bosniak returnees in the RS. So far, they warn from the DF, it has been insufficient and often sluggish.

What is needed, they ask from the Bratunac DF, to happen to a Bosniak returnee or returnees for Bosniak politicians to stand up for their protection.

In the last few weeks, attacks on Bosniak returnees in eastern Bosnia have become frequent, and the most horrific occurred a few days ago in Vlasenica, when a group of 30 hooligans beat a Bosniak young man, who sustained serious injuries, reports NAP.
