Police Officer Amar Turčalo Released, Restrictions Imposed

(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo has issued a Decision partially accepting the appeal of the suspect police officer A.T., lawyer Dino Hodžić, filed against the decision to impose detention on the suspect under number 65 0 K 1194072 25 Kpp 2 dated 04.11.2025. The aforementioned decision is hereby amended to lift the detention measure for the suspect A.T., and he is to be released IMMEDIATELY.

"Simultaneously, instead of detention, the suspect is subject to restrictions on leaving his place of residence – the address of his permanent residence, and a prohibition on meeting with certain individuals, meaning the suspect is forbidden from meeting or approaching within 500 meters, or contacting by phone or any other direct or indirect means with the victim minor XY. This measure will be monitored by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, i.e., the competent police station," states the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo.
