Dodik's attempts to take credit for resolving the clearing debt issue are ridiculous

Regarding the statement by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, on the issue of the clearing debt of the Russian Federation to BiH, published yesterday by the SRNA agency, in which he mentions the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the named minister Igor Crnadak has responded.

- Attempts by Milorad Dodik and the SNSD to take credit for resolving the issue of the Russian clearing debt have become ridiculous, as two indisputable facts disprove them.

The first fact states that this Council of Ministers of BiH conducted negotiations and signed an agreement with the Russian side, after which the money in the total amount was recently paid into the account of the Central Bank of BiH.

The second fact states that during the previous two terms, from 2006 to 2015, when SNSD Vice President Nikola Špirić was the Chairman, or Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, there was no agreement with the Russian Federation and no resolution of this issue.

From these two facts, it is clear that the resolution of Russia's clearing debt will be recorded as one of the successes of this Council of Ministers of BiH, in which the PDP and the Alliance for Changes participate, regardless of all the hatred that Milorad Dodik shows daily towards the Serbian representatives in Sarajevo.

On this occasion, I once again wish to express gratitude to the Russian Federation for paying the entire debt to BiH in cash, which is a unique case, and for achieving this agreement, I personally, on behalf of BiH and on behalf of Republika Srpska which I represent in the Council of Ministers of BiH, thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, during our official meeting in May this year – says Crnadak.
