Web application launched to track coronavirus presence in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Institute for Informatics and Statistics of Sarajevo Canton and the Institute for Public Health of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with GDi Sarajevo, have established a web application for tracking the presence of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Sarajevo Canton area.

The application is an integral part of the project for creating a digital platform for Sarajevo Canton, which the Institute for Informatics and Statistics of KS launched earlier. The application contains detailed data on individuals and their locations who are in the surveillance system based on data from the Institute for Public Health of KS.

Only statistical data by municipalities in Sarajevo Canton is available to citizens, with the application currently not being adapted for mobile devices.
