On the website onlinepeticija.com, a petition has been launched against the closure of the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", which has already been signed by more than 3,000 people, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
The petition was launched by citizens who oppose the merger of the heroic institution of the General Hospital with the KCUS, which ultimately aims to completely close this healthcare institution.
Sebija Izetbegović was at the head of this hospital, announcing numerous projects upon taking office, but it is evident that her goal was to take over the director position at KCUS. Although the Management Board of the General Hospital dismissed her and appointed Sead Bašić as acting director, as Patria learns, Izetbegović still comes to the General Hospital and issues orders for doctors to transfer to KCUS.

The Medical Chamber of Sarajevo Canton has also raised its voice against the closure of the hospital, which survived even the hardest days during the aggression against BiH. They have advised the doctors of the General Hospital not to sign documents about transferring to KCUS and to consult with lawyers.
