The marking of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day, held today at the Potočari - Srebrenica Memorial Center, was attended by representatives of the First March Coalition, who live in the RS and are coalition coordinators for certain regions, Mirnes Zahirović and Edin Ikanović, reports the Patria news agency.
Zahirović emphasized that this is the day when the majority of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina voted for its independence, integrity and sovereignty, and added that the Bosniaks who returned to the territory of the RS after the genocide and persecution are here today to fight for "Bosnia and this date to exist in every corner of it."
Ikanović said that they have shown they are ready to fight, that they respect all citizens of this country regardless of religion and ethnicity, that they are dignified in achieving their goals, and that they will show that the new generation can change relations and continue to fight for the values for which the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina voted on February 29 and March 1, 1992, the Civic Coalition "First March" announced.
