Enhanced security measures for facilities in BiH protected by the Directorate

Following the terrorist attack on the Charlie Hebdo newsroom in Paris, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, in accordance with its legal responsibilities, has enhanced security measures at the facilities of the Embassy and the Residence of the Republic of France in Sarajevo. Also, security measures have been enhanced at several other facilities protected by the Directorate, reports the Patria News Agency. 

The Directorate is in continuous contact with all police bodies, the OSA (Agency for Security and Information), the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, as well as with the Police Liaison Officer at the Embassy of the Republic of France in Sarajevo. All police agencies have intensified operational activities in the field with clearly defined tasks and responsibilities. All information related to this terrorist act is being closely monitored, and a necessary reaction, both in preventive and operational terms, will not be lacking, it was announced from the Directorate.
